Question: What is (Possum) fur wool?
Answer: Possum wool is a combination of Possum fur and Merino wool.

Question: Why can Possum fur be used when other types of fur are outlawed?
Answer: Possums were introduced into New Zealand from Australia and there are now around 70 million of them destroying countless trees and other wildlife.  Since they must be controlled, using their fur is considered to be OK.

Question: What's the difference between a Possum and an Opossum?
Answer: Not much - Opossums generally come from the America's whereas their cousins the Possums are native to Australia, New Guinea, and Sulawesi.  For the purposes of this website they are all Possums.
